The Buffalo roamed the free ranges of Alberta before colonizers settled in the mid 1750s. These animals were a primary food source for the local indigenous peoples, and once numbered in the millions. This scene is inspired by the landscape near Drumheller Alberta, and pays homage to the Buffalo that once called these plains home.
